About Cranberry Book BarnThe Cranberry Book Barn has long been a favorite haunt for booklovers in the Southeastern Massachusetts area as well as a delightful surprise for the many tourists who meander through our region. Our stock consists of about 10,000 carefully chosen volumes geared to providing reading pleasure in a wide range of categories. We carry everything from scholarly treatises on American History to popular paperback fiction. We also have a great children's section so, by all means, bring the kids and let them wander.We are located in the heart of Cranberry Country and if you visit us in late September or October you may be lucky enough to see the magnificent colors and dramatic images of the annual cranberry harvest. A Cranberry Festival is held here in Carver on Columbus Day Weekend and is well worth the trip. The Southeastern Massachusetts area is alive with history and offers plenty to do for vacationers. We are right down the street from Plymouth Rock, Plimoth Plantation, and the Mayflower II. A short drive south brings you to Cape Cod with its endless miles of beaches and lots of bookstores! Send us an email request and we'll send you brochures listing all the bookstores in this area of New England.Driving Directions:From Route 495: Take Exit 6 East (towards Plymouth) and get on Route 44 East. Stay on 44 for about 10 miles (watch the signs). We are located on Route 44 (Plymouth Street) in North Carver. Look for the sign on the right just after the North Carver Post Office.From Route 3: Take Exit 6 West (Route 44). Follow Route 44 towards Carver for about 9 miles. Look for Cranberry Book Barn on the left. If you come to the intersection with Route 58, you've gone just a tad too far. |
